when your foot slips off its couch

toes outstretched and brush the ground

a jolt awake

just as the 6pm sun seeps by your doorframe

tickling the white wall above

you find yourself caught between

going and finding more to

do, see, and feel

and accepting that you are

completely content. here. and not in a rush. its OK to want to hold this

sun‘s glow a little longer
