Oh myyyy. Is there anything more universally loved? Granted, you can find plenty of Oh, I don’t drink caffeine and I can’t stand the taste. All in all-- I do not discriminate against my coffees. $7 latte from the hipster café in Brooklyn? Here's my card. $1 coffee from a road trip gas station? I'm ready for that gritty burn of stale beans (however, admittedly, less often).
This semester I can't get away from the barracks room brew: Chamberlain Coffee steeped bags steaming out of a golden yellow mug, allowing the heat to escape just enough to warm my hands wrapping around the ceramic body. In the coffee world, there cannot be a more pure feeling than the first sip. Slipping down the throat with its rich, homely aura around and through the chest. The tang of the brew sits there, knowing an altoid would do wonders before you get to participate in the first social interaction of the day. People learn over coffee, work over coffee, laugh over coffee…. Can they fall in love over coffee? Maybe it’s not that powerful, but at this point, its intricacies never fail to surprise me.
of course you can fall in love over coffee
