the nights that matter are the ones when you look up. The pull away from the screen is just a little stronger. You win.


The sun hits the wooden fence so perfectly in this 6 o clock shadow. I am lucky to be standing here. I have eyes to settle on over my dusty horizon. I have legs to take me there. I have a car to drive and food to eat and people to thank and life in front of me. easy to write down, hard to remember when the mind keeps talking.
